June is a great month in Hong Kong. The temperature is just about cool enough to keep us from melting into the ground, which makes it the perfect time to challenge yourself with the best hiking trails in Hong Kong, and even if the weather is a bummer, there are still plenty of fun indoor activities to keep you entertained while staying dry. Read on to see what the city has in store for us this month.

Catch the ultimate golden hour experience at K11 Musea as its sixth-floor Sculpture Park transforms into Sips by the Sea, an open-air sky bar overlooking Victoria Harbour. Running from May 16 to 31 on Fridays, weekends, and public holidays, this breezy pop-up brings together a crew of veterans from Asia’s 50 Best Bars to serve a stellar lineup of exclusive cocktails designed to mirror the changing colours of the sunset.

Guests can sip on bespoke creations from Bangkok's legendary Opium Bar, Seoul’s whimsical speakeasy Alice Cheongdam, as well as beloved local bars Tell Camellia and Socio. It all wraps up on June 6 with a massive closing party featuring live DJ sets and even more names from Asia’s 50 Best Bars, including Kyoto’s Bee’s Knees, CMYK from Changsha, and The Old Man Hong Kong. Admission to the Sculpture Park is completely free, with dedicated bar seating reserved for those purchasing drinks.

Hong Kong’s cabaret scene is about to dazzle like never before. This June, the inaugural WestK Cabaret Festival takes the stage at the Xiqu Centre with a nine-day carnival, blending international icons with homegrown talents. Broadway legend Patti LuPone headlines with her only Asian stop, Paris’ oldest and most historic Paradis Latin brings Parisian glamour overseas for the first time, and Irish-Australian showman Bobby Fox debuts in Asia. Beyond the mainstage spectacles, dive into cheeky surprise performances, late‑night dance parties, and free happy-hour pop-ups for an all‑out festival experience. This June, culinary boundaries blur as Yong Fu Hong Kong and Ta Vie present ‘Journey’, an exclusive two-night collaboration dinner series. Taking place at Ta Vie on June 10 and moving to Yong Fu on June 11, the event sees chef Hideaki Sato and chef Liu Zhen stage a unique role reversal by swapping ingredients to bridge French-Japanese technique with Ningbo tradition. Diners can expect an extraordinary tasting menu featuring dual interpretations of seasonal produce, signature dishes like Sato’s black truffle guinea fowl pie, and exclusive custom creations like Liu’s stir-fried vermicelli with shredded eel and sea urchin.

The Sam Tung Uk Museum is set to transform into a vibrant hub of traditions on June 13 and 14. The weekend will showcase the city's diverse ethnic cultures with everything from Hakka folk song duets to Indian festival workshops. You can also join guided tours led by the Sam Tung Uk village chief, watch shadow puppet performances, or get hands-on with activities like patterned band weaving and the art of Chiu Chow kung fu tea, all within the historic walls of the former village.

Celebrate the 85th anniversary of the iconic evaporated milk brand Black and White with a series of harborfront events kicking off on June 2. For a limited time, the brand is taking over the historic Dukling – Hong Kong’s oldest traditional Chinese junk boat – for exclusive Victoria Harbour cruises complete with complimentary cans of classic milk tea. If you prefer to stay on dry land, head over to the waterfront promenade outside K11 Musea where a boat-inspired installation features five experiential zones, inviting visitors to take photos, journey through the brand's history, and take home exclusive anniversary collectables.

Curated by local artist armechan, Pocket Art is Hong Kong’s first art collection card exhibition. Running at PMQ from May 29 to June 21, this unique showcase brings together 10 local and overseas artists – including comic master Li Chi Tak, Rex Koo, Lio Yeung, Erika Shiba, Abby Lee Yan Yee, and many more – to shrink contemporary art into palm-sized masterpieces. Visitors can hold, swap, and build their own mini art collection with various packs offering nearly 200 collectable cards, and there’ll even be grading and authentication services from Grading Eleven Authentication so you can seal your card inside exclusive protective slabs. If you prefer to wear your art, the exhibition has also partnered with local fashion brand Grocery to translate the visual motifs of the art cards into wearable daily items.

The ICH Cuisine Carnival is taking over the historic grounds of Oi! in North Point on June 20 and 21 to celebrate the city’s status as a culinary paradise. Open from 10am to 6pm, the two-day event dives into the techniques behind some of our most beloved local flavours, with demonstrations and workshops for moon cakes, dim sum, ding ding candy, and more. Between bites, you can also catch live performances of nanyin and lion dances, or learn the secrets of the perfect silk-stocking milk tea.

Clear your weekend from June 19 to 21 as one of the region's largest trading card shows returns. Taking over the Grand Ballroom at the Hopewell Hotel, Grade10 Fest Summer 2026 brings together over 120 global exhibitors from the UK, the US, Japan, and beyond. This year's top attraction is the Pokémon Dojo celebrating the franchise's 30th anniversary, where fans can marvel at tens of millions of dollars worth of ultra-rare vintage treasures in person – including the legendary 1998 ‘Pikachu Illustrator’ card and a first-edition Charizard signed by artist Mitsuhiro Arita. 

The action-packed weekend also features an immersive ‘Journey Through Time’ exhibition mapping out three golden eras of the Pokémon franchise, alongside an exclusive card launch and live performances by Taiwanese sports cheerleading squad Peach Girls. Celebrate 10 years of pasta with Pici at this one-day-only street market at PMQ. Take a walk down Pici Lane for tastings and pasta-rolling workshops, explore a decade of history at the Pici Wall, and wet your whistle at the Partner Pantry featuring an official Aperol Spritz station alongside artisanal gelato, premium wines, and other tipples.

Fans of Netflix’s hit show Culinary Class Wars will also be delighted to see season one winner Napoli Matfia in action for the Young Pasta Chef Competition, where five talented kids shortlisted from the FWD Max Academy will roll, wrap, and garnish their own ravioli live under the chef’s mentorship. Visitors are invited to don specially designed graduation gowns for unique snaps at the Reef Lobby or capture a swimsuit graduation shot against the colourful backdrop of the famous Rainbow Rush slide. On May 16 and 17, those who bring their own gowns and tag the park on Instagram can even snag a free gift! Between photo sessions, visitors can also catch pro instructors shredding the waves at Surf Striker every weekend throughout May and June, or head to the Jumbo Game Zone to challenge friends to super-sized versions of Jenga, Chess, Connect Four, and Tetris.
